Tasting notes:

Founded in 1937 in the foothills of Sierra de Cantabria, Bodegas Orube produced this wine from its Las Molinas estate vineyard. Medium garnet-hued, the wine shows blueberry, brambles, ripe strawberry and cranberry overlaid with gentle toast, cocoa and liquorice. Dry and midweight, the palate has crisp acidity and velvet-textured tannins, with earthy and cashew nut nuances adding interest. Poised, concentrated and well-balanced, the wine will pair nicely with roasted quail and sautéed chanterelles.  (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
