Winemaker Marcelo Parolaro and histeam produce this range of fine qualitywines with advice from masteroenologist Angel Mendoza. From ablend of grapes from the sub-areas inthe Valle de Uco, grown at around1,100m altitude on rocky soils, this Malbecis very deep purple in hue with intense,black fruits, smoke and dark chocolateoverlay. Rich and full-bodied, the palateshows concentrated flavours supportedby dense silky-textured tannins and freshacidity. Well-integrated and lingering onthe finish, with a sappy note, this winewill match barbecued sirloin steakaccompanied by Worcestershire sauceand a dollop of grainy Dijon mustard.(Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
