Tasting notes:
Oh what a lovely appeal to all the senses this wine is. Its colour is like a pale caramel – not that of nasty cheap toffees, but of a lovely, tangy, crème brûlée with hints of bright amber. The complex nose has notes of green tea, dried kitchen herbs and a touch of lemon zest, and then just a touch of fresh ripe peaches. On the multi-layered palate it is textured and controlled, with beautiful depth, complexity and integration, and just a hint of spiced fruit on the finish. (Siobhan Turner MW)
