Tasting notes:

A rich, bright amber colour hints at the fascinating secrets of this wine. The nose is very complex, with aromas of hazelnut, guava, touches of cinnamon and nutmeg spice and just a hint of caramel, layered with cedar. On the palate it is sublimely textured and elegant, with a chewy feel and notes of candied oranges. Dry, warming and delicious – the panel all struggled to spit this one out. There is a fabulous persistence, and intrigue on the finish. An amazing wine, well worth its admittedly high price. (Siobhan Turner MW)
