A wonderful example of just howenjoyable a good Moscato d’Astican be; light, ethereal almost,despite the sweetness. The nose is anelegant blend of jasmine, grapes andelderflower. On the palate, it is intenseand focused, with the fresh aciditybeautifully balancing its sweetness – itfeels fresh, never cloying. The finish islong and vibrant – a palate reviver.Perfect apéritif for a warm summer’sevening, but would also be deliciouspoured over a bowl of fresh, ripe redberries for dessert.(Siobhan Turner MW)
