Tasting notes:
An outstanding Syrah from McLaren Vale made by Dandelion Vineyards, with intensity and smoothness, making it deliciously easy to drink while mouth-filling and versatile. Among the many flavours in this layered wine are notes of ripe blackcurrant and juicy cherry, along with sweet cinnamon and cracked pepper, fresh mint and dark chocolate. As for the finish, there’s a gentle, plum-like bite, with some fine tannins, bringing a light touch to this powerful wine. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
