Tasting notes:

Yangarra Estate is devoted to producing top-quality wines from southern Rhône varieties on its 170 hectare estate, where 90ha are planted to vines and the remaining 80ha preserve native vegetation and wildlife to enhance biodiversity. This Shiraz is stunning. Deep ruby-purple in hue, the wine shows mixed black and red berry fruit, accented by dark chocolate and cedar wood with a floral lift. Dry, the full-bodied palate is well-defined and textured, with fresh acidity and dense, corduroy tannins. Youthful, the wine has a long future, but could be drunk now with topside of beef pot au feu.
