Bodegas Chivite has been located inthe Navarra town of Cintruénigosince 1637, and doing a cracking job ofwine production for 10 generations.Renowned for rosados, Chivite lives up toexpectations with this wine, which has apale salmon colour with intense summerpudding fruits, and a soft meringue andvanilla pod overlay. Dry, the palate showslively acidity supporting the well-definedflavours. Sappy and savoury andshowing a little astringent tannic grip, thewine will suit grilled lobster with clarifiedbutter.
