A great example of the quality, complexity and value on offer within the Loire,this Saumur Brut from Bouvet Ladubay is a brilliant Champagne alternative,with a distinctive character based not just on its source region, but the CheninBlanc grape. In terms of characters, it’s creamy, bready and biscuity, with notesof pear and crisp apple, then chalk dust and grilled nuts, before finishing dryand super-fresh, with a zesty, lemony acidity.
