LaMarca sources Glera grapes from small growers throughout the Prosecco DOC for this extra dry version. The still wine is aged on its lees before the second fermentation, which gives a gentle, fresh bread overlay to primrose, melon and white peach fruit. Off-dry (14g/l residual sugar), the lightbodied palate has lively acidity and creamy mousse texture. Perfect with brunch canapés, such as avocado toasts or smoked salmon with crème fraiche.(Jonathan Pedley MW)
