Fully mature but super-fresh, Lanson’s non-malolactic style seems to suitvery old Champagnes like this prestige cuvée from the 2005 vintage. So,while there are notes of dried apple, old furniture, honey and hazelnuts,there is also this firm, bright zestiness to the very dry finish.(Patrick Schmitt MW)
