Tasting notes:

Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte is the largest union of co-operatives in thewhole of the Champagne region, comprising 82 different groups and morethan 5,000 vineyards. This wine, based on about 95% grands crus, isexceptional. Pale lemon-gold in hue with streams of tiny bubbles and anarrow cordon, the wine is aromatic, with yellow flowers, hedgerowand tangerine zest accenting the apricot and white peach fruit,overlaid with fresh yeast. Brut-style, the light and graceful palate isunderpinned by brisk acidity and velvet-textured mousse. Welldefinedand long, the wine will pair well with a delicate fruit dessert,such as poached pear millefeuille with pear sorbet.(Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
