Tasting notes:

The Ruggeri branding echoes the triangular hills of the DOCG Valdobbiadene subregionof Treviso. The ‘marque’, an isoceles triangle with the initials of the familyat the points and a golden heart at the centre, is a unique signification. Thiswine, too, is unusual and delicious. Pale lemon-yellow in hue and quite frothy,the wine shows yellow peach and orange zest, with a fresh bread overlay. Brut(9g/l residual sugar), the wine is juicy, showing light body and attractive fruitflavours across the palate, with bracing acidity and a satin-textured moussegiving balance. The savoury finish suggests a pairing with heritage tomatobruschetta or pissaladière. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
