Cramele Recas was founded in 1991 and is located in the Banat/Recas region, Timis County,Romania. By 2018 the company had become Romania’s leading winery, andwith good reason. This example, unoaked, shows great purity of red berryfruit with a gentle herbal note. Nearly dry but very juicy, the palate is framed bylively acidity and light, supple tannins. Simple but elegant and slightly pepperyon the finish, the wine will pair nicely with pork chops in a light brandy-and creamsauce. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
