Founded in 1936, the winery and extensive vineyards are now operated by the third and fourth generations, headed by Leopold Sr. and Stefan. The Rieslings are always pristine and elegant, and this wine from Ried Leiten is a marvellous expression. Pale lemon-yellow, with fresh lime and green apple, the wine has a sleek, mid-weight palate, excellent concentration and leesy texture, framed by lively acidity. A very pretty wine of great purity and good length, it will match a delicate white fish such as Dover sole meunière.(Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
