Tasting notes:
Some bright fruit overlaying very old-vine red fruit concentration on the nose,with hints of raspberry, cinnamon and cassis, roses and a burdock character. Thepalate is intense, spicy and rich with ripe black cherries, fresh acidity, high yetvery well-integrated alcohol and very structured, firm, yet also elegant, tannins.Lovely with a roasted meat dish, but probably perfect with risotto Milanese, or asimple pasta with white truffles.
