Tasting notes:
A stunningly complex wine, with intense and layered aromas of black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, pepper and a hint of black tea. There are firm but beautifully aligned tannins, with lovely depth and concentration on the palate. The finish is long and surprisingly elegant for such a big wine. This would be perfect for a bistecca Fiorentina, a Tuscan ribollita, or simply some aged hard cheese and a roaring fire.(Siobhan Turner MW)
