Tasting notes:

The wine has a spicy nose, with complex fruit aromas of red berries, lavender,blackcurrant and blackberries, a touch of tobacco leaf and a hint of plums, cloveand cinnamon. It’s a classic Bordeaux blend with the elegance of the Old Worldand the fruit quality of the New – perfectly South African, in other words. Thiswine will be perfectly at home with a Sunday roast, but perhaps given its originsit might be happier with Karoo lamb, slow-roasted, with fine herbs. Reallydelicious, and has many years ahead.
