Il Collettivo: The Itallian tasting:

Il Collettivo is a collective tasting co-hosted by 30+ winemakers and four importers, showcasing the exciting and progressive wines being produced across Italy.​

There will be around 200 wines on tasting as well as 2 feature tables, 4 masterclasses and a unique range of older vintages to enjoy alongside some delicious food supplied by The Italian Supper Club.

Masterclasses

  •  10.00-10.45am – The New South: A Look at the Ancient Varieties of Campania, led by Vincenzo Mercurio from Raffeale Palma (recently voted one of Italy’s top 10 winemakers Vincenzo Mercurio is the leading consultant of artisan wineries in Campania and the South)
  • 11.00-11:45am – Brunello: Lionel Cousin from Cupano Brunello and the Gorelli family from Il Potazzine will discuss traditional and modern Brunello –Gorelli Trad, higher alt, made using botte; Cupano
  • 2.00-2:45pm – Piemonte: Norbert Reinisch from Domain Braida and Luca Roagna from Domain Roagna will be talking about how to get the best out of that most tantalising of grapes,, Nebbiolo
  • 4.00-4:45pm – Intalian Wines: Endless diversity: A crash course in Italian wine grapes led by Bruno Besa from Astrum Wine Cellars
