Jancis Robinson OBE MW will host an exclusive evening masterclass at Berry Bros. & Rudd on Thursday 13 November to raise money for The Drinks Trust.
The charity, established over 140 years ago, provides financial assistance, emotional support and professional development opportunities to those in need within the drinks industry. Its mission is to alleviate hardship and improve wellbeing for industry colleagues.
The tasting will showcase eight fine wines drawn from the Berry Bros. & Rudd Family Reserves, all donated by the merchant for the occasion. Highlights include a 1987 Champagne Bollinger La Grande Année, a line-up of mature Bordeaux including a 1998 Château Cheval Blanc, and a 2005 late-harvest Pinot Gris from Domaine Zind Humbrecht.

Celebrating 50 years of wine writing
Speaking about the event, Jancis Robinson said: “I’m delighted to do my bit as a patron of the very worthwhile Drinks Trust which looks after the physical and mental health of those who work in the drinks trade, at the same time as sharing treasures from the Berry Bros. & Rudd Family Reserves in celebration of my 50 years writing about wine, and the concurrent 25th anniversary of JancisRobinson.com.”
