Bollinger unveils Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition
Champagne Bollinger has released a Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition to celebrate over 45 years as the Official Champagne of James Bond.

A cinematic partnership
The partnership between Bollinger and Bond began on screen in 1979 with Moonraker, though the Champagne was first referenced in Ian Fleming’s Diamonds Are Forever in 1956. Since then, the collaboration has become one of cinema’s most enduring brand alliances.
The new limited edition release comes in a black collector’s box inspired by the iconic Bond opening sequence. The front features a gold gun barrel motif with Bond’s silhouette at the centre, set against a black-and-gold colourway with metallic embossing. The bottle itself carries the 007 branding on the neck collar.
“Champagne Bollinger and James Bond share a commitment to elegance, craftsmanship, and timeless sophistication,” said Victoria Carfantan, Director of Global Partnerships at Champagne Bollinger. “This release is both a celebration of our shared history and an invitation for Bond fans and champagne lovers alike to savour the taste of The Champagne of James Bond.”
The launch also coincides with the 40th anniversary of A View to a Kill, in which Champagne Bollinger featured prominently in a party scene at villain Max Zorin’s French estate, and in promotional material where Roger Moore’s Bond shares a bottle with Tanya Roberts’ Stacey Sutton.

Bond’s drinking legacy
Bollinger’s association with 007 is well-documented. As db reported earlier this year, Bond is seen drinking in all but one of the 24 films produced between 1962 and 2015, with Bollinger among his preferred tipples alongside the vodka martini. Academic studies have even quantified his intake, calculating that in Ian Fleming’s novels he consumed an average of 92 units of alcohol a week. While Bond’s drinking has often been excessive, his choices have consistently highlighted premium brands, with Bollinger arguably the most enduring.
The Champagne house has previously marked Bond milestones, including the release of a Goldfinger 007 cuvée in 2024 to celebrate 60 years since the film’s debut. That limited edition, priced at £3,500 and from the 2007 vintage, was restricted to just 200 bottles.
Strategic partnerships
The Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition comes only days after Bollinger announced another high-profile alliance — this time with Aston Martin. As db revealed last week, the Champagne house has become the official Champagne partner for the British luxury car brand. Both Bollinger and Aston Martin hold the Royal Warrant, underscoring their shared heritage and recognition by the British Royal Household.
Bollinger has also engaged in other collaborative projects in recent years, such as its 2022 tie-up with Bowmore to create the ARC-52, a 52-year-old single malt housed in a sculptural decanter, and its 2024 Bond anniversary release. The latest limited edition reinforces the house’s strategy of aligning itself with global cultural icons.
Bond at 35,000 feet
To mark James Bond Day on 5 October, British Airways will serve the Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition in its Club World cabin on all long-haul flights from 1–5 October. Passengers in every long-haul cabin will also be able to access the full James Bond movie collection through the airline’s inflight entertainment until the end of the year.
