Is Korean pear juice the answer to a hangover?
A cult favourite in Australia, 100% Korean pear juice Nashi claims to reduce hangover symptoms by 20% when consumed before drinking alcohol. Now, it’s available to UK consumers.

Natural hangover remedy makes UK debut
Nashi Pear Juice, a 100% pure Korean pear juice drink, has launched in the UK with a focus on hangover prevention. The product has already gained a strong following in Australia and is marketed as a natural way to reduce next-day symptoms when consumed before drinking alcohol.
The product is based on traditional Korean remedies, with pear juice having been used for centuries in South Korea to counteract the effects of alcohol. A small clinical study found that drinking around 220ml of Korean pear juice before alcohol consumption reduced hangover severity by approximately 20%.
Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, also investigated the juice’s properties and concluded that it may assist the body in breaking down alcohol more efficiently by supporting certain enzymes.

Now available across the UK, Nashi Pear Juice targets health-conscious consumers looking for a natural solution to mitigate the effects of alcohol consumption.
