Tiered member’s club to showcase Colorado’s finest ciders

Colorado-based Snow Capped Cider, owned by female entrepreneur Kari Williams, has started up an exclusive cider club.

The club will see Williams invite cider enthusiasts to join while offering two membership tiers: Rootstock Club and Graft Club.

Rootstock Club has been designed as the ultimate cider experience, offering access to Snow Capped Cider’s rare small batch series, reserve, and specialty lines. Members will receive quarterly shipments of four bottles, a custom T-shirt, 20% off purchases, and invitations to private events. Prices range from US$120 to US$170 per shipment, plus tax and shipping.

Meanwhile, the company insisted that Graft Club is predominantly ideal for those exploring estate-grown cider and will provide quarterly shipments of two bottles or a mix of bottles and cans. Members will receive a custom T-shirt, a 10% discount on purchases, and priority access to special events. Prices range from US$80 to US$150 per shipment, plus tax and shipping.

Speaking to the drinks business about the club and the point of difference it showcases for the category, Snow Capped Cider owner and head cider maker Kari Williams said: “At Snow Capped Cider, we’re dedicated to crafting exceptional cider that showcases the unique terroir of our orchards on the Western Slope – there’s nowhere else in the state quite like it. The incredible fruit we grow is at the heart of everything we make.”

Williams explained how “each cider club box is packed with a variety of the highest awarded cider in the nation” and pointed out that this held true “whether it’s our traditional styles, heritage ciders, or perry.”

Williams also told db: “Members can choose from our nationally awarded best-in-class and platinum-awarded ciders, along with exciting new releases and exclusive gifts” and added: “We are so excited for cider fans to enjoy Snow Capped Cider in a whole new way.”

Williams highlighted the importance of continuing to recognise dedication from women in the sector, being determined to make progress.

She added: “As a female owner and producer in the cider industry, International Women’s Day is a time to recognise the hard work, dedication, and craft that go into everything we create. Women continue to push the industry forward, and be creative and fierce in their pursuits. I’m proud to be part of that progress while sharing our award-winning ciders.”
