Taylor’s Port City Edition launches in Cannes

Taylor’s Port City Edition is set to be revealed at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes next month.

A tribute to the city of Oporto, the edition is a tribute to the UNESCO World Heritage Site location that has “nurtured Taylor’s Port for over three centuries”, the brand said.

It also comes as the brand moves into the world of travel retail exclusives with the City Edition being a reserve port, blended from full-bodied and fruity ports, matured in ancient oak vats and suitable for pairing with rich cheeses or dark chocolate.

Alongside the bottle, the brand has invested in special packaging, which illustrates the city’s cobbled streets and hidden corners in a map of Oporto, and which includes Taylor’s Port’s personal recommendations for ‘must-visit’ spots.

Speaking about the launch, CEO of Taylor’s, Adrian Bridge, said: “At Taylor’s Port, we take immense pride in our roots and the rich history that has shaped us. We are excited to announce that Taylor’s Port City Edition will be making its global debut at the prestigious TFWA in Cannes. This international platform is the perfect stage to showcase our commitment to innovation, quality, and the artistry that goes into every bottle of City Edition.
