Estates and Wines joins IMW supporters

Having recently announced Silicon Valley Bank as a sponsor, the Institute of Masters of Wine has said that Moët Hennessy’s Estates and Wines has also become a supporter.

The IMW now has 29 supporters around the world who work with the institute to promote “excellence, interaction and learning” across the global wine community.

Estates and Wines is the wine division of luxury drinks group Moët Hennessy (itself the drinks arm of luxury group Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) which includes an international array of fine wine labels including: Cloudy Bay, Cheval des Andes, Cape Mentelle, Numanthia, Ao Yun and Newton.

Maggie Henriquez, president of Estates and Wines said: “Estates and Wines is delighted to become a supporter of the Institute of Masters of Wine – an exceptional and respected organisation, which shares our commitment to professional excellence in wine. We have had the pleasure of working with many students and Masters of Wine over the years and strongly believe in the continuous development of wine education as part of the evolution of the world of wine.”

Adrian Garforth MW, chairman of the IMW, added: “Many Masters of Wine will know a number of the wineries that sit within Estates and Wines, and we are delighted to start a more formal partnership with such a range of producers, and styles, and geographies. We share a common drive to promote excellence in the global wine industry, and look forward to many fruitful activities together.”
