This year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, taking place from 7 May to 11 May, has announced record exhibitor numbers.

317 brand companies will be in attendance at this year’s TFWA Asia pacific Exhibition & Conference, up from 310 exhibitors last year. Wine and spirits brands at this year’s show include Beluga vodka, Champagne Laurent-Perrier, Edinburgh gin and Smokehead whisky.

The exhibition space at Marian Sands Expo and Convention Centre has also been extended, from 9,817m2 in 2016 to 10,300m2 this year.

In 2016, the show attracted 2,905 visitors – including 660 from Singapore, 223 from Korea, 197 from Hong Kong and 106 from China – 37% of whom were reportedly key buyers.

The event will give exhibitors the opportunity to network with senior executives from cruise and ferry companies as well those from Asia Pacific airports and airlines.

Visitors can access the TFWA Product Showcase that includes more detailed information and news from the show.

Commenting on the event, TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen said: “We are delighted that the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference is continuing to go from strength to strength, and our exhibitor numbers suggest we are on track for a very successful week.

“These figures also reflect the importance of the Asia Pacific region to our industry and underscore how it is an essential market for all brands in the duty free and travel retail sector.”

Pre-registration has now closed but visitors can register onsite in Singapore from 7 May onwards.
