The Sherry Festival returns this June
The Sherry Festival, organised by Sherry Wines UK, returns for a fourth consecutive year, taking place from 5 to 18 June 2017.
Participating wine merchants from across the UK carry out a two-week in-store promotion of all things Sherry. The three promotions judged to be the best win a trip to Jerez.
Those wishing to take part should enter online here by 22 May – please be advised that only the first 60 entries will receive a free POS pack.
Archie McDiarmid and David Dargahi of Luvians, St Andrews get into the spirit.
Victuallers will also be supported across digital marketing platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and are encouraged to use the hashtag #SherryLover.
Commenting on this year’s festival, Angeline Bayly, UK campaign director said: “Each year the festival goes from strength to strength and it’s great to welcome new merchants taking part – from Scotland to Cornwall.”
“But what really excites us is the uptake in sales that merchants have during the promotion. What better reason for taking part?”
Recent winners include Luvians (St Andrews), Highbury Vintners (London), Harrogate Fine Wines (Yorkshire), Borough Wines (London), Drinkmonger (Edinburgh) and Bar 44 (Cardiff).
