MMD distributes Roederer Estates’ still wines
Maisons Marques & Domaines has announced it is now distributing Roederer Estates’ Californian still wines in the UK.
The agent said it was taking on the wines of Domaine Anderson and Carpe Diem, at a time when the premium Californian segment “continues to grow in popularity”.
The two brands join MMD’s ‘Quartet’ range of sparkling wines.
MMD managing director, Richard Billett, said: “The arrival of the Domaine Anderson and Carpe Diem wines is a welcome and timely addition to the MMD portfolio.
“We are confident they will help us build on the success of the well-established Quartet, at a time when the premium Californian segment continues to grow in popularity in the UK market.”
The news came on the same day that Armit Wines announced it was expanding its Californian range as well – bringing on three new agencies.
