Hillebrand scoops Waitrose award

JF Hillebrand has been recognised as one of Waitrose’s top suppliers.

The logistics company won the prize for “Improved Efficiency” at the UK retailer’s supplier awards ceremony last month.

Recognising the top performing suppliers across every aspect of Waitrose’s business, this year’s awards picked out 11 suppliers across five categories. Hillebrand was the only supplier to win an award in the Improved Efficiency category.

Presenting the award to Hillebrand, Waitrose commercial director, Mark Williamson, said: “They have worked collaboratively with Waitrose in the past year to develop an improved supply chain management system.

“This will allow our many suppliers around the world to ship optimal volumes for us at lower costs per case, whilst reducing stockholdings and improving forecast accuracy for both Waitrose and our suppliers.”
