Rosewood Amsterdam bar teams up with Celebrate Her for events series

Bar manager Jamie Bokhorst will curate a series of talks and takeovers celebrating women in hospitality, with the first event taking place next week.

Advocatuur at Rosewood Amsterdam has announced a year-long programme of events in partnership with global community Celebrate Her, aimed at celebrating women in hospitality and driving meaningful industry change.

The initiative, running throughout 2026, is curated by Advocatuur bar manager Jamie Bokhorst alongside Celebrate Her. The programme will feature a series of talks, educational sessions and guest bartender takeovers, supported by Diplomático, Woodford Reserve and Campari.

Celebrate Her makes its Netherlands debut

The first event will take place on Tuesday 24 February and will mark Celebrate Her’s debut in the Netherlands. The daytime programme will centre on talks and conversations led by women from across international hospitality, followed by an evening bar takeover from Hedda Bruce, bar manager at Tjoget in Stockholm.

The afternoon sessions will cover a wide range of topics. Speakers include Monica Berg of Tayēr + Elementary, wildlife conservationist Ara Carvallo, who is also Benelux’s World’s 50 Best Bars Academy Chair and a member of the Tales of the Cocktail educational committee, and freelance drinks journalist Mandy Naglich.

Further events will be confirmed throughout the year, all of which will be hosted at Advocatuur and Rosewood Amsterdam.

Jamie Bokhorst said: “Working in hospitality as a woman has shown me just how powerful community can be. Collaborating with Celebrate Her feels like a natural fit. This event isn’t just a discussion; it’s a step towards lasting change and deeper industry support.

“I’ve seen how far we’ve come and how much further we can go when we share, uplift, and create opportunities for those coming through the ranks. Advocatuur thrives on creativity and forward thinking, making it the perfect home for this gathering – and we can’t wait to welcome Celebrate Her for its first event in the Netherlands.”

Anna Sebastian, founder of Celebrate Her, added: “We are really excited to collaborate with Rosewood Amsterdam, a hotel and brand that embody exclusivity, engagement and truly looks at the future of this industry by championing women, education and community.

“These events have been put in place to give back to the industry, educate and inspire and with Jamie at the forefront of this we are delighted to support her initiative over the course of 2026.”

Tickets will be available to members of the drinks industry, with limited availability.
