MO BAR Singapore unveils art-led Modern Localism menu
The new menu, The City of Art, brings together 15 cocktails created with 11 local collaborators spanning design, food, music and perfumery.

MO BAR Singapore has unveiled Vol. 7 of its Modern Localism series, titled The City of Art, a new cocktail menu that explores Singapore’s creative landscape through 15 drinks shaped by collaboration and storytelling.
Launched on 24 February 2026, the menu traces the rhythm of a day in Singapore, from morning rituals through afternoon pauses to late-night industry moments. Each section reflects experiences of moving through the city and encountering its creative community, brought to life through partnerships with 11 collaborators across perfumery, design, food, music and hospitality.
According to the bar team, the collaborators were selected for their heritage, dedication to craft and the personal stories that inform their work.
“Modern Localism Vol. 7 isn’t about representing categories or disciplines,” said Kim Jung Hoo, Assistant Bar Manager at MO BAR Singapore. “It reflects how we experience Singapore, starting with morning rituals, moving through the city’s cultural spaces, discovering local artisans, and eventually winding down at MO BAR. Each collaborator is someone we genuinely admire and have learned from, and every drink comes from observing how they create and live. Together, the menu becomes a collection of these moments, brought together at MO BAR.”
From morning rituals to afternoon pauses
The menu opens with a series of morning-inspired serves that explore scent, self-care and art. Highlights include Sifr Fizz, an aromatic Highball created with Sifr Aromatic’s essential oil hydrosol, elderflower and saffron, referencing the perfumery’s heritage.
Forest Fire follows, inspired by Raden Saleh’s Boschbrand and a visit to National Gallery Singapore. The cocktail combines Monkey Shoulder Blended Whisky, Los Siete Misterios Mezcal and pala and cengkeh amaro for a smoky, expressive profile.

The quieter pace of the morning is reflected in Velour Kiss, developed with skin management brand La Dermalogique, which layers gin, chamomile, bee pollen and extra virgin olive oil. The Artis, a no and low option created with Hans Tan Studio, features fermented banana tibicos, pandan and coconut salt, with vodka offered as an optional addition.

Afternoon moves into tea and coffee rituals with Bukit Kemas, created with jewellery brand Forbidden Hill using Ryukyu Baijiu, Lillet Blanc and roasted corn, and Kopi Pumptini, developed with Bettr Barista as a variation on an Espresso Martini using Kopi O, roasted barley bourbon and pumpkin.
Dessert-inspired serves include B.T.B (Bean to Bar), created with Lemuel Chocolate using bourbon and cacao nibs kombucha and also available non-alcoholic, alongside Dopa? Dopa!, made with Dopa Dopa Creamery and combining salted caramel V.S.O.P., black tea and pistachio kunafa.

After hours at MO BAR
As the menu moves into the evening, the focus shifts to shared moments and industry culture. Reclaimed Sling 3.0, first introduced in 2025, returns in an updated form using No. 3 Gin as a refined interpretation of the Singapore Sling.
Jo-hwa (和諧), developed with modern Korean restaurant ANJU, blends matsutake mushroom-infused gin, fino sherry, verjuice and pear for a fruit-forward, umami-led serve. Jukuleles, named after MO BAR’s regular live band, pairs mezcal with yuzu marmalade, tulsi and bitters in a tropical highball style.
The menu closes with Pine-Dustry, a tribute to Singapore’s bar industry, combining tequila, white wine reduction and coconut, served with a pineapple tart.

Alongside the new drinks, MO BAR Singapore continues to offer its established house signatures, including Mandarin Martini, M.O. Whiskey Sour and Oriental Heritage, anchoring the menu in the identity of both the bar and its home at Mandarin Oriental Singapore.
Vol. 7 Modern Localism, The City of Art, is presented as a “notebook in motion”, framed through the perspective of a wandering journalist capturing impressions, encounters and flavours across the city, with each drink offering a distilled reflection of Singapore’s creative spirit.
