Banfi expands organic focus with Emiliana Organic Vineyards US agency deal

The US wine group has taken on the agency for one of Chile’s leading organic producers, strengthening its sustainability led portfolio.

Banfi has named Emiliana Organic Vineyards as a new agency partner, with the US company now representing the Chilean producer’s premium organic wine brands in the United States.

Effective immediately, Banfi will act as US agency partner for Emiliana’s portfolio, including Ge, Coyam, 57 Rocas and Maycas del Limarí. The move brings one of the world’s most prominent organic and regenerative wine producers further into Banfi’s sustainability driven strategy.

Organic credentials at the core

Founded in Chile in 1998, Emiliana Organic Vineyards is widely recognised for its early and full commitment to organic viticulture. The producer is a certified organic winery, a B Corporation and the first Chilean company to achieve Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC®) status.

Emiliana has positioned itself as a global leader in sustainable agriculture, with a focus on biodiversity, regenerative farming and long term ecosystem health. Its wines are exported worldwide and are closely associated with organic and sustainability led credentials.

Banfi said the addition of Emiliana strengthens its collection of sustainably focused producers and reflects a shared vision for the future of the wine industry.

Partner Content

“As consumers increasingly seek wines that align with their values – favoring transparency, sustainability, and thoughtful craftsmanship. This expanded partnership places Banfi at the forefront of meeting that demand with authenticity and excellence,” said Cristina Mariani-May, CEO of Banfi. “Our partnership with Emiliana builds on a long-standing relationship between our families, and we are honored by their continued trust in Banfi to steward these exceptional wines in the U.S. market.”

Building on an existing relationship

The partnership also deepens an existing connection between the two companies. Banfi already holds an ownership interest in Natura wines, Emiliana’s organic brand produced in Chile.

Cristian Rodriguez, General Manager at Emiliana, said the company sees Banfi as a strong fit for its US ambitions.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Banfi,” he said. “Their longstanding leadership and excellence in brand-building makes them an ideal ambassador for our wines in the United States. Together, we look forward to continuing to champion sustainability and introducing more consumers to the depth and diversity of our portfolio.”

Banfi, founded in New York City in 1919 and now in its third generation of family ownership, continues to grow its agency and owned brand portfolio. Alongside its Castello Banfi estate in Montalcino, the company has expanded its focus on sustainability, organic production and premium wine partnerships, including recent additions to its US agency business in 2025.
