WSET names Laurent-Perrier as new Gold Partner

The Champagne house has signed a three-year Gold Partnership with WSET, becoming headline sponsor of its flagship Graduation ceremony and backing a key Diploma prize.

WSET has unveiled Laurent-Perrier as its newest Gold Partner, marking a three-year partnership between the global drinks education body and the independent, family-led Champagne house.

The agreement will see Laurent-Perrier collaborate with WSET across a range of initiatives, including acting as the headline drinks sponsor at WSET’s flagship Graduation event, which celebrates outstanding student achievement worldwide.

Michelle Brampton, chief executive of WSET, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Laurent-Perrier to our list of WSET Gold Partners and as the headline drinks sponsor for our annual Graduation ceremony. This partnership brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to education, expertise and quality, and supports our wider work to improve access to drinks education worldwide.”

As part of the partnership, Laurent-Perrier US will sponsor the WSET Diploma Sparkling Wine Prize for a top-performing student in the Americas. The winner will receive an exclusive visit to the Laurent-Perrier cellars in Champagne, France, with travel, accommodation and hospitality provided by Laurent-Perrier US.

The award will be presented at the WSET Graduation ceremony at the QEII Centre in London in April 2026.

WSET said its partnership programme is designed to create positive social impact by making drinks education more accessible globally and supporting a more inclusive drinks industry. With almost 50 partners, WSET has supported more than 1,000 individuals across 14 countries since August 2023, working with 33 partner organisations.
