MyiCellar: ‘Lemsecco Spritz is exactly the kind of drink Hong Kong wants next’

Hong Kong wine lifestyle platform MyiCellar has partnered with Australian Vintage, introducing Lemsecco Spritz as a “refreshing, fun and stylish” aperitif for happy hour.

Australian Vintage continues its penetration into Asia with the launch of Lemsecco Spritz in Hong Kong.

Through its collaboration with MyiCellar, one of the city’s leading wine and spirits lifestyle platforms, it aims to target the trend of casual drinkers seeking stylish social options.

In 2025, the ASX-listed Australian Vintage returned to the Chinese market following a tariff-induced absence. Supported by Nimbility, it has been rebuilding distribution of its offerings, which includes McGuigan, Tempus Two and Nepenthe alongside Lemsecco Spritz.

Made with real lemon, blood orange, and orange, Lemsecco Spritz Lemon and Lemsecco Spritz Blood Orange were designed to bridge traditional sparkling and contemporary lifestyle-oriented aperitifs.

‘Innovation at its best’

“Lemsecco Spritz represents innovation at its best – a wine-based aperitif that’s playful yet high-quality,” said Kate Williams, head of Asia with Australian Vintage. “MyiCellar’s expertise in shaping consumer trends makes this partnership the perfect platform to showcase it in Asia.”

The launch of Lemsecco Spritz in October 2025 signified Australian Vintage’s ambition to target trade and consumers seeking what’s next. Known for being more than an online wine distributor, MyiCellar offers a curated portfolio of wine and spirits backed by insight into the local market through education, events and sales expertise.

As a supplier to popular establishments including Shangri-la hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and the American Club, it enjoys robust word-of-mouth credibility.

A trendsetting region

“Hong Kongers are known for casually opening serious bottles, but they’re equally serious about their casual drinks,” said Tomy Fu, MyiCellar’s co-founder. “Lemsecco Spritz delivers the perfect balance: refreshing, fun and stylish while still rooted in Prosecco quality. We think it’s exactly the kind of drink that Hong Kong wants next.”

MyiCellar and Nimbility will activate Lemsecco Spritz in the coming months through tastings, lifestyle events and educational programmes to get Hong Kong onboard. “Hong Kong is a trendsetting city and so can be counted on as the first market in the region to embrace innovative concepts,” said Polly Aylwin-Foster, Nimbility’s co-founder.

“Bringing Lemsecco Spritz here with MyiCellar is a natural step in shaping the next wave of casual yet stylish drinking.”
