Golden Globes 2026 gift bags, worth US$1m, include rare wine and spirits
The Golden Globes has revealed its most lavish winners’ gift bag yet, valued at just under US$1 million. Wine and spirits take a starring role, led by rare bottles from Bordeaux and a bespoke Scotch whisky cask.

Gift bag recipients are invited to tailor their selections, with limited quantity items allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For drinks professionals, the numbers are eye-watering. According to the organisers, one recipient will have the option to claim nine ultra-rare bottles of Liber Pater from the 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2018 and 2019 vintages, valued at US$210,000. The same producer also offers two tickets to the Jubilee at the Liber Pater estate in Bordeaux, priced at US$117,000 and available to one recipient.
Elsewhere, Isle of Harris Distillery has created a six-bottle case of whisky from a cask produced exclusively for the Golden Globes recipients, valued at US$1,080 and limited to around 35 people. All recipients are eligible for a bottle of Cygnet 22 and 77 with martini and rocks glasses by Erik Lorincz, valued at US$500.
Robb Report has also curated a three-bottle Discovery Level membership to its 672 Napa Valley Wine Club, valued at US$300 and available to three recipients. For those inclined towards the global fine wine circuit, Liquid Icons is offering two tickets to the 2026 Golden Vines, valued at US$30,000 and limited to one participant.

Travel experiences stretch even further
While wine may steal the headlines, travel dominates the breadth of the package. According to the organisers, the number of global getaways has nearly doubled compared with last year. Standout experiences include a two-night stay at The Muraka undersea residence at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, valued at US$70,000, and a Royal Suite stay at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok priced at US$20,500.
How it compares with last year
As reported by the drinks business in January 2025, last year’s Golden Globes goody bag already set a high bar for wine lovers. One lucky participant had access to a trio of ultra-rare Liber Pater bottles from the 2015, 2018 and 2019 vintages, with the 2015 alone priced at around £36,000.
That package also included bottles of The Hearach Single Malt Scotch Whisky or Isle of Harris Gin for nominees, alongside a Liber Pater tasting and dinner experience in Bordeaux valued at US$272,000. Compared with that, the 2026 offering expands both volume and choice.
