Burns Night in London 2026: where to eat and drink
From candlelit pubs to grand dining rooms, London takes Burns Night seriously. Here is where to find the best cooking, whisky and poetry in the English capital to celebrate all things Scottish.
The Cadogan Arms, Chelsea

Alongside sister pubs The George and The Hound, The Cadogan Arms marks Monday 26 January with a four-course Burns Night menu created in partnership with The Singleton 12 Year Old Whisky. Expect whisky-cured Scottish salmon to start, haggis croquettes for comfort, roast rump of Scotch beef for ballast and a dark chocolate and peated whisky tart to finish.
Dinner is £85 per person, including a Bonnie Bramble welcome cocktail and a dram of The Singleton 12 Year Old Whisky. A vegetarian menu is offered at £70 per person.
The George, Fitzrovia
The Fitzrovia outpost mirrors the Chelsea menu and mood, complete with bagpipes and a full Address to a Haggis. It is reassuringly formal without ever feeling stiff, the sort of Burns Night that understands the value of oatcakes and well-judged portions.
The Hound, Chiswick

The Hound opts for a single 7pm sitting and a slightly more indulgent take. The four-course menu begins with a Cullen Skink croquette, followed by venison carpaccio and Highland wagyu bavette with rumbledethumps, haggis, and whisky sauce. Dessert is a traditional Ecclefechan tart.
The menu is £85 per person or £70 for the vegetarian version and includes the Bonnie Bramble cocktail and a dram of The Singleton 12 Year Old Whisky.
Bruichladdich Distillery at Covent Garden Hotel

On Friday 23 January, Bruichladdich Distillery hosts a Burns Night dinner in Brasserie Max’s private dining room. Designed as a contemporary supper, the evening pairs Scottish cooking with rare Islay whiskies and live spoken word.
Guests are welcomed with a Penicillin cocktail made with The Classic Laddie, followed by a four-course menu from head chef Martin Sweeney. Pairings include Bruichladdich 18, Port Charlotte 18 and the heavily peated Octomore 15.2. Award-winning poet Kevin McLean provides a modern tribute to Robert Burns.
Scott’s Richmond

On Sunday 25 January, Scott’s Richmond hosts its third Burns Night dinner on the riverside in partnership with The Singleton of Dufftown. The evening begins at 6.30pm and is priced at £95 per person.
The three-course menu runs from pastrami-cured salmon to fillet of venison, finishing with Singleton treacle tart and crème fraîche. A Speyside Highball made with The Singleton 12 Year Old Whisky sets the tone, followed by drams, ceremonial toasts and bagpipes.
Langan’s Brasserie, Mayfair

On Sunday 25 January from 6pm, Langan’s offers a one-night-only Burns Night supper priced at £100 per person. Guests receive a complimentary tot of The Glenturret 14 Year Old Peated on arrival alongside Scottish-inspired canapés.
