Milestone Beverages launches Stateless American Single Malt

Hong Kong-based brand owner and distributor Milestone Beverages has announced the launch of its first American single malt under its Stateless whiskey range, set to debut in early 2026.

Milestone Beverages launches Stateless American Single Malt

The launch of Stateless American Single Malt marks Milestone Beverages’s first foray into the American single malt whiskey category.

Long dominated by Scotch whisky, American single malts are gaining ground. After years of campaigning from whiskey makers in the US, the country’s Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau approved the official classification in December 2024. The category made its official debut from 15 January 2025.

Now, Milestone Beverages has decided to pioneer the new category.

Bottling of the Stateless American Single Malt will take place in December 2025. The launch is set for early 2026, with an RRP of US$/€59.

Unlike many US single malt brands which are focused primarily on the domestic market, Milestone Beverages has chosen to set its sights further afield. The brand owner, whose primary focus is Asian markets, will launch Stateless American Single Malt in key markets including India, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and Western Europe.

“We see this as a strategic line extension that strengthens our position as a brand owner capable of delivering both scale and substance,” said Joe Milner, managing director of Milestone Beverages. “Our partners have been asking for something higher-end within the Stateless range, and this launch delivers exactly that.”

Milestone Beverages has continued to build the Stateless whiskey brand throughout the year. In February, the company announced a new addition to the portfolio in the form of Stateless Peach Flavoured Whiskey.

“We believe flavours like peach have been trending. With some intense innovation we have managed to create a beautiful well-crafted peach-flavoured whiskey,” Milner said at the time.

At the same time, the company also chose to plug another gap for its customers, this time relating to scale. Its range extension also tapped into larger formats in the form of one-litre bottles of its Stateless US Whiskey. Read more on that here.
