The Singleton teams up with Alex Eagle for limited-edition Venetian glassware

The Singleton has partnered with designer Alex Eagle on a new glassware collection made by Venetian artisans. The range lands today, 20 November, exclusively through Alex Eagle Studio.

The Singleton has unveiled a limited-edition glassware collection created with tastemaker and designer Alex Eagle. The collaboration launches on 20 November and will be sold exclusively through Alex Eagle Studio, in-store and online.

The partnership centres on a shared focus on craftsmanship, ritual and the enjoyment of whisky at home. Eagle, known for her minimalist-meets-eclectic aesthetic across her UK and European concept stores, has helped shape a pair of rocks glasses made in Venice using the incalmo technique — a traditional method that fuses two layers of molten glass into a single piece.

Each set features two intentionally mismatched glasses, with individuality placed above uniformity. The design aims to complement The Singleton’s smooth, rich character and offer drinkers a tactile, timeless vessel.

Eagle, who has Scottish roots, drew on memories of whisky drinking in the Highlands for the project. She sought to reflect the warmth and generosity of those moments, while also challenging whisky’s traditionally masculine image through a more delicate and elegant form that still nods to classic crystal-cut glassware.

“Whisky drinking is such a sensory ritual, from the feel of the glass to the aroma of the serve. For this project with The Singleton I wanted to create something that enhances that experience in the home,” says Eagle.

Ellie Deans, Diageo UK head of single malts, adds: “At The Singleton, we believe in savouring life’s moments, with craft, care and connection. This collaboration with Alex brings that philosophy to life in a new, beautifully tangible way.”

A festive serve to match

Ahead of the festive season, Eagle has also shared her take on a Rose Whisky Sour using The Singleton 15-year-old. The recipe combines the whisky with fresh lemon juice, Monin rose syrup and vegan foamer, double-strained and garnished with a fresh rose petal.
