Fell Brewery opens bar in Stockport
The official opening of South Cumbia’s Fell Brewery is set to take place in Stockport and is due to open its doors on 28 November.

The neighbourhood bar will be located at the former MØ6B site in central Stockport and will feature a rotating line-up of Fell beers alongside a selection of guest breweries from across the UK and beyond.
Community-focused
Fell Stockport will be managed by Elliot Smith who currently leads the brewery’s Fell Chorlton site. Under Smith’s stewardship, there is hope that Fell Stockport will bring the same warm, laid-back and community-focused atmosphere that has made the Chorlton bar such a success.

Speaking about the launch, Fell brewery managing director Michael Dixey told db: “Stockport has an incredible independent scene and a strong sense of community. We’re excited to become part of that story. We can’t wait to meet the regulars and welcome new faces too.”
Events planned
Fell Stockport will be open Wednesday through to Sunday, with a programme of events, tap takeovers and community gatherings planned for the months ahead.
Last year, Fell Brewery acquired its second Manchester venue, Pelican Bar, in the city’s Northern Quarter. Speaking to db, Dixey said that the acquisition enabled Fell to extend its presence into Manchester, significantly enhancing its brand visibility. Dixey outlined how the bars side of the business is “crucial” to its success.
