Alcohol-free brand Crossip launches in India
Non-alcoholic drinks brand Crossip has partnered with distributor DryDrnks to debut in the Indian market, the next step in its international expansion strategy.

Crossip plans to tap into two growing trends in India with its launch in the country: a rising demand for moderation and the boom of India’s cocktail culture.
Tim Blake, the company’s CEO, described India’s drinks scene as “bursting with creativity and ambition”.
“The bars, bartenders, and venues here are among the most exciting anywhere in the world,” he said, arguing that Crossip gives bartenders “another tool, something bold, something versatile, something that works across no-, low- and full-strength drinks”.
Crossip launched in 2020, founded by bartender Carl Anthony Brown, who has worked in the industry since 2005. He launched the drinks brand following stints at various venues including Waldorf Astoria and Dishoom.

Since its launch Crossip has focused on international expansion, and its products are now available in more than 20 markets worldwide. The brand is stocked in bars, restaurants, and hotels including The Savoy, Hakkasan, Dishoom, Burger & Lobster, Lucky Voice, Dirty Bones, The Corinthia, and Atlantis The Palm in Dubai.
In November 2024 Crossip announced it was launching in Hong Kong. At the time, Blake told db he had identified the market as “a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region”, and the strategic move is one made with an eye to further growth.
Blake said of the market: “With its vibrant dining scene, demand for premium drinks, and a culture that embraces global trends and luxury, Hong Kong is the ideal place to build our presence and set the stage for wider regional growth.”
Crossip launched into the on-trade in Hong Kong, in line with the company’s strategy in most international markets. “We start with the on-trade—bars, restaurants, and social venues,” Blake said. “Once we’ve established strong recognition and a foothold, we expand into retail channels, making Crossip more accessible.”
Crossip is available in markets including the UK, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Canada, Germany, France, Holland, Ireland, South Korea, Malaysia, Mauritius, Czech Republic and Senegal, as well as in a limited way in the US and Zanzibar.
