Champagne Jacquart unveils Blanc de Blancs 2018 with art-inspired launch in London
Champagne Jacquart has unveiled its 2018 Blanc de Blancs in London, celebrating a generous vintage and a new artistic partnership.

Champagne Jacquart hosted an intimate lunch at The Greenhouses in Marylebone, London, on 29 October 2025 to mark the UK launch of its new Blanc de Blancs 2018. The event was led by house oenologist Joëlle Weiss and UK brand ambassador Jim Thompson, with the special participation of artist Odyssée Khorsandian, who designed the limited-edition presentation case.
Reflecting on the 2018 harvest, Weiss described the vintage as “prodigious” – a word she said encapsulates both its exceptional quality and abundance.
“We had a very wet winter, a little couch at the end, but from the fifth of May onwards, then a glorious summer weather condition setting,” she said. “It was exceptionally generous, both in terms of quantity and quality… fresh, fruity, elegant, superb wines. We were amazed by the quantity of grapes we picked and the amazing fruity notes they gained from this beautiful sunshine.”
Weiss added that the wines have continued to impress over time: “They have retained their elegant and natural character year after year. That’s truly what this Blanc de Blancs 2018 delivers today – freshness, elegance, and the true essence of Champagne.”

Art and emotion in harmony
In keeping with Jacquart’s long-standing ties to the arts, the house collaborated with Reims-based artist and calligrapher Odyssée Khorsandian to create a special edition gift box for the vintage. Her design, inspired by the tropical and floral nuances of the wine, features layered textures and shades of yellow and green that evoke green mango, pineapple and grapefruit. Only 1,500 numbered cases have been produced.
“This Champagne embodies originality, vitality, joy and energy,” said Khorsandian. “My approach was guided by this pursuit of emotion. I envisioned the design as something graceful, with free-flowing strokes — the idea was to embrace the box elegantly without burdening it with unnecessary lines and patterns.”

The result is a presentation that mirrors the cuvée itself – modern, elegant and radiant – marking another creative chapter in Champagne Jacquart’s ongoing story of artistry and expression.

Crafting a radiant expression of Chardonnay
Made entirely from Chardonnay sourced from Premiers and Grands Crus vineyards in Chouilly, Cramant, Oger and Villers-Marmery, the Blanc de Blancs 2018 has matured for six years on the lees. It carries a dosage of 6.5g/L.
The wine opens with aromas of grapefruit and white flowers – cherry blossom, osmanthus and vine flowers — followed by tropical hints of green mango, sugarloaf pineapple and dragon fruit. On the palate, it offers a silky texture, saline freshness and a zesty finish.
“This 2018 Blanc de Blancs stands out for its charisma, its natural grace and its radiant elegance. In a word, it has style,” said Weiss.
Some suggested pairing suggestions are the cuvée with crayfish salad and grapefruit, sea bream ceviche with avocado, or even a classic crème brûlée.
