Rooftop cocktail bar to open in Canary Wharf
Sacred Garden will officially open as part of the House of Gods hotel on 27 October 2025, with the hotel chain saying the London launch is their ‘boldest move yet’.

Canary Wharf is set to welcome a new rooftop bar this October, which will launch as part of a new hotel, as the area aims to transform its image from financial hub to neighbourhood honeypot.
The hotel, House of Gods will officially open its doors on 27 October 2025 in London’s Tower Hamlets borough, and will include Sacred Garden, a 300-capacity rooftop bar and restaurant with sweeping views of Eden Dock.
This comes as Canary Wharf Group continues its strategy to revamp the area from a financial hub into a neighbourhood with a range of entertainment and leisure options.
The site will feature 79 rooms and suites, following the maximalist design of its sister establishments in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

House of Gods founder, Mike Baxter, said: “Since 2019, House of Gods has been built on a simple promise: every guest should be treated like they’re famous.
“At House of Gods, our guests aren’t just visitors, they’re the stars of the show. With our incredible new hotel in Canary Wharf, we’re taking that philosophy to dazzling new heights.
“London is our boldest move yet and every detail has been designed to make guests feel truly celebrated. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome London into the world of House of Gods.”
Scottish success

Backed by Imbiba, the specialist Leisure, Education and Healthcare investor, this will be the third property from the hotel group, following launches in Scotland.
Companies are aiming to increase the appeal of the Canary Wharf area as an area to live in. This month, plans will be submitted for a floating, Olympic-sized lido in Eden Dock, located in the financial district’s centre.
