Magners owner C&C Group on the hunt for new CFO
C&C Group, which owns cider brands Magners and Bulmers as well as Scottish lager Tennent’s, has announced the departure of CFO Andrew Andrea, who heads to Domino’s Pizza.

Andrew Andrea, C&C’s chief financial and transformation officer and directory of the company, has informed the company board of his decision to step down from his role. He will take up a new position as CFO at Domino’s Pizza Group, C&C revealed in an announcement today.
Andrea will remain in post until the end of the financial year, stepping down on or before 13 March 2026.
C&C has said the search for a new CFO will begin immediately.
Roger White, Chief Executive Officer commented: “The Board join me in thanking Andrew for his excellent contribution to C&C. Andrew joined the business during challenging times and has, through his experience and capabilities, played a significant role in the stabilisation and improvement of the business. Andrew will continue to be an important part of the leadership group until his planned departure early next year.”

Challenging times
In 2024 C&C Group parted with its chief executive after accounting mistakes led to the company taking a €17m charge. Patrick McMahon, who was chief financial officer during the time of the accounting shortcomings, agreed to step down in June of last year.
Andrea has held the role of CFO for just 18 months. He previously held the role of CEO at Marston’s.
He leaves the company amid a 4% slide in revenue in the first half of the year after C&C restructured a deal with AB InBev over the distribution of its beer and cider.
C&C Group has said trading has been in line with expectations. The group’s core brands, Tennent’s and Bulmers, delivered solid performances over the six-month period, with both achieving revenue growth.
