Bristol-based Good Chemistry Brewing co-founders Kelly Sidgwick and Bob Cary have decided to step away from the brewery. db reports.

Good Chemistry, which has spent 10 years brewing, is now seeking “interested parties” who would like to take the brewery business on and continue to keep it running to sate the thirst of the Bristol beer scene.

But we have also got to the point in our lives where we want to make some changes, have a break, and try something new. We would love to see brewing continue on William Street, and we’re currently talking to interested parties.”

Cary added: “We’re deeply grateful for the support we’ve received over the past 10 years. Bristol has always backed Bristol, and we’re proud to have built our business here.”

Sidgwick and Cary “prepare to explore new challenges and take a well-earned break” they have assured that “the brewery remains active” and have said that “brewing and packaging continue, with exciting new releases – including the return of a fan favourite – coming soon to the webshop and stockists across the city”.
