Sierra Tequila named official Tequila partner of Brighton Pride 2025

Sierra Tequila was poured at key Pride locations across Brighton, as the brand celebrated the city’s diversity and creativity with exclusive serves and ongoing support for local nightlife.

Tequila brand joins Pride celebrations

Sierra Tequila was the official Tequila partner of Brighton Pride 2025, held from 2–3 August. The partnership saw the brand featured at on-trade venues throughout the city and served at major event locations including Preston Park and the Brighton Street Party.

Sierra Tequila held an exclusive Tequila listing in 70cl format at all participating bars. Festival-goers could find it under a dedicated section on cocktail menus across Brighton, with VIP guests offered a selection of Margaritas, Palomas, and premium single serves mixed with sodas.

Following the event, Sierra Tequila continued its presence in the city at Concorde 2, the well-known music venue and nightclub, as part of its broader commitment to Brighton’s cultural and nightlife scene.

Rob Curteis, managing director of UK distributor The Drinks Company, said: “Sierra Tequila was created for good times and we wanted to celebrate the fun-loving, joyful and welcoming values that Brighton has to offer, making it the perfect setting for a Pride celebration.”

Popular tequila range highlighted

The brand is currently the UK’s best-selling Tequila*, recognised for its bright agave flavour and signature sombrero-topped bottles. Its production is rooted in traditional Mexican distillation methods.

The range includes Sierra Tequila Blanco (38% ABV), with tasting notes of sweet agave, citrus and white pepper (RRP from £12.35 for 50cl at Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Amazon), and Sierra Tequila Tropical (18% ABV), which combines mango and passionfruit with a chilli heat (RRP from £17.99 for 70cl at DrinkSupermarket, Amazon and Tesco). The Reposado expression (38% ABV) offers vanilla, caramel and herbal notes with a touch of oak spice (RRP from £16.00 for 50cl at Sainsbury’s, Asda and Amazon).

Brighton Pride has been described by The Guardian as “the country’s most popular Pride event” and is known for its focus on diversity, inclusion, and support for the LGBTQ+ community through celebration, visibility and solidarity.
