Disaronno toasts 500 years with Italian cinema celebration
Film, fashion and cocktails combine for a summer tribute to screen style, curated by Disaronno and Little White Lies.

Disaronno has teamed up with film and media outlet Little White Lies to mark the liqueur brand’s 500th anniversary with a two-month cultural collaboration inspired by the golden age of Italian cinema.
Titled La Dolce Vita: A Celebration of Italian Screen Style, the project blends editorial, illustration, film screenings and immersive experiences. It was brokered by media agency the7stars.
At the heart of the partnership was a weekend of curated screenings at London’s Regent Street Cinema, which took place on 4-5 July. The venue will be transformed into a Disaronno-themed space, evoking the glamour and artistry of mid-century Italian film.
Italian cinema on the big screen
Two classics were shown across the weekend: Michelangelo Antonioni’s La Notte (1960), starring Marcello Mastroianni, Jeanne Moreau and Monica Vitti, and Paolo Sorrentino’s The Great Beauty (2013), a modern homage to the grandeur and introspection of Rome.
Guests were welcomed with a taste of Italian aperitivo culture and a selection of Disaronno cocktails. These included the limited-edition Dolcevita, created by Drink Kong’s Patrick Pistolesi and his team in Rome. Drink Kong is regularly named among The World’s 50 Best Bars.

Attendees also received a one-off printed zine, produced by Little White Lies, which features exclusive editorial content and original illustrations inspired by the films and the visual language of Italian cinema.
Celebrating style and storytelling
“Disaronno has always been a symbol of Italian style, and reaching 500 years is a testament to our heritage, craftsmanship and cultural resonance,” said Peter Dries, regional trade marketing director for Northwest Europe at Disaronno International.
“With La Dolce Vita, we wanted to honour that legacy through the lens of cinema – a medium where Italian creativity has always shone.”
Adam Woodward, editor-at-large at Little White Lies, added: “Partnering with Disaronno to explore this rich legacy feels like a perfect pairing, a celebration of craft, culture and living well. From the editorial to the zine to the immersive event, every detail of La Dolce Vita is designed to be savoured.”
The collaboration will also be featured across the Little White Lies website, podcast and social channels throughout the summer.
