CroisiEurope unveils 2023 French wine region cruises

CroisiEurope Cruises has revealed its 2023 departures featuring Bordeaux itineraries along the Dordogne and Gironde Rivers.

Wine fans can now discover France’s renowned wine country in the comfort of one of CroisiEurope’s floating hotels at pricing that begins at just US$1,589 per person.

CroisiEurope’s 2023 Bordeaux cruises include: ‘The exceptional region of Bordeaux’ which takes guests along the Gironde River, traveling round trip from Bordeaux with stops in Cussac-Fort-Medoc, Blaye, Libourne, and Saint-Emilion. Consumers can discover wines from the region along the Garonne and Dordogne estuaries and also explore the Medoc. Prices for this five-day itinerary start at US$1,589 per person.

Additionally, ‘A cruise in Aquitaine’ offers a trip that explores the great wines of Southern France while upon a six-day cruise, including a round trip from Bordeaux, with stops along the Grand Crus wine route; Blaye, where underground monuments can be explored in the historical Citadelle Vauban; and the town of Libourne where the medieval village of Saint-Emilion is located. In this trip, shore excursions are included with the option to explore the cycling routes of Pauillac, and guided tours of the Cité du Vin are also given. Prices for this cruise start at US$1,828 per person.

Another trip named ‘Cruise through the Aquitaine region’ takes travellers through Southwestern France’s maritime cities for a taste of wine culture. This itinerary, sailing round-trip from Bordeaux, includes excursions to explore the Médoc Wine Route; La Rochelle, the city by the seaside that’s over 1,000 years old; and Arcachon Bay, known for its stunning views of the tallest sand dune in Europe, Dune of Pilat. Prices for this seven-day itinerary start at US$2,543 per person.
