Justerini & Brooks to distribute Bodegas Tradicion
Fine wine merchant Justerini & Brooks will has agreed a partnership to distribute one of Sherry’s leading producers, Bodegas Tradicion in the UK.
A small estate, Bodegas Tradicion produces “oenological jewels”, often of great age and with minimal intervention, blending, clarification or sweetening.
The full range that Justerninis will represent in the UK includes fino that is over 10 years old, 30 year old palo cortado and an oloroso that contains wine from the 1860s.
The merchant’s Spain buyer, Mark Dearing, commented: “To work with such beautiful wines and fly the flag for Sherry as a truly wonderful and underappreciated category of fine wine is a real privilege. They are truly genre-defining examples of complex, exquisitely balanced old Sherries, a million miles away from the high production, minimally aged bottlings so often seen on supermarket shelves.”
