Bancroft Wines appoints new CEO
London-based wine distributor Bancroft Wines has confirmed the appointment of Jon Worsley as its new chief executive officer.

Worsley has over 20 years of industry experience having held position at Pernod Ricard, Treasury Wines Estates, United Wineries and, most recently Liberty Wines, where he held the position of Commercial Director for three years.
“We are very happy to welcome Jon into our business,” said Bancroft Wines’ chairman Peter De Haan. “He has a proven track record of exceptional leadership and an ability to implement positive and effective changes. These skills will be invaluable as we work to achieve our ambitious growth plans.”
Worsley will join the company board and will be overseeing all aspects of the business. Of his appointment, Worsley said he was “thrilled” to be joining the company at “such an exciting time for the business”.
Founded by the late Adam Bancroft MW, Bancroft Wines celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015 and supplies the London on-trade, independent off-trade, private clients and several select national accounts nationwide.
