Accolade appoints ex-Moët manager as UK marketing director
Accolade Wines has appointed former director and general manager of Moët Hennessy Diageo Singapore, David White, as its UK marketing director.
David White
White brings 20 years worth of experience in the wine and spirits industry to the role, having worked on global brands including Jim Beam, Jack Daniel’s, Johnnie Walker, Cloudy Bay and Krug Champagne across the US, UK, Asia and Europe.
He has been general manager of Moët Hennessy Diageo Singapore since 2016. Prior to this, he spent eight years at LVMH-owned The Glenmorangie Company, becoming director of marketing and communications and then international director.
Before that he was brand director for Jack Daniel’s at Brown-Forman, The Famous Grouse at Edrington, and Jim Beam at Beam Global.
Taking effect from 4 January, White will report of Ade McKeon, Accolade general manager UK and Ireland, who said it was “fantastic news” that White was joining the company at what he described as a “very exciting time in the company’s evolution”.
“He will be an integral part of the UK commercial team ensuring we continue to drive value in the wine category and develop our power brands while exploring new territories and opportunities,” he added.
